Just a quick note to say your bare alum. Skid plate for Gen 4 4Runner’s was an easy install and solved the V8 oil filter access issue and convenient cutout for easy access to the fumoto oil drain. Thank you for a great, well engineered product.

Ordered the black steel. High quality and beefy! Just make sure to put the nylon washers in between the skid plate and the frame at the most rear bolts.

After trying several other companies/skid plates, this was by far the best. It actually bolts on to factory mounts and took me about 30 minutes to install. I have been looking to upgrade my factory skids on my 2004 V8 for a while and, after looking around, I decided on the raw aluminum engine skid and could not be more happy with my choice.
