I chose to build my 4Runner because living in Western Montana exposes me to some of the most rugged terrain and weather that there is. The stock configuration of my vehicle is great, but couldn’t keep up with the demands of navigating the rocky, unpaved trails and steep mountain passes that are part of everyday life here. Beyond practicality, my passion for fly fishing and documenting it through photography often takes me to remote and untouched locations where accessibility is limited to those with capable off-road vehicles. The build I’ve done with my 4Runner allows me to venture deeper into the backcountry, casting my line in pristine waters that are far from the beaten path.
