This cross member is also fully compatible with RCI-manufactured engine skid plates, making it the perfect solution for 4th generation Tacoma’s NOT originally equipped with a front cross member from the factory.

Bought for a 25 TRD Sport 4×4. I had ordered a factory TRD skid plate for my truck, stupidly not knowing its missing the front crossmember (why, I have no clue). Shipped fast, sturdy feeling and came painted. Was initially thrown off by the flag nuts, I figured it’d have a welded nut or threads in the crossmember itself, but they did include them and they worked fine! Just a note, the original length skidplate bolts didn’t catch, you’ll want 6 bolts total, can reuse the ones from your fabric panel for the center and rear of the skid plate, but I would recommend finding two slightly longer ones for the front (OEM size M8x1.25x(20mm?). Great product and the welds looked nice, thanks!

Bought this crossmember to use on a 2wd 2024 Tacoma Sport as the factory does not install a front crossmember, was able to remove the large air dam and the stock fabric/plastic engine splash guard and install a metal one. Everything lined up perfectly, Thank You RCI for making this item A+!
