The RCI GX460 Ascent Roof Rack is a premium rack system designed specifically for the 2010-2023 GX460. This rack features laser cut and CNC machined aluminum components for an overall light weight, high capacity rack, that requires NO drilling or modification of any kind. Adjustable and removable extruded “T-Slot” cross-bars allow unlimited flexibility for mounting accessories.

After a lot of research and online comparisons I recently went with the RCI roof rack for my 2017 GX 460. The installation was a breeze and I absolutely love the additional versatility it adds to my rig, not to mention it looks amazing! I’ve been to Co twice and a weekend excursion to Padre Island National Seashore since installing it a few months ago!

2Just installed my 2020 Lexus GX460 rack today and a bit disappointed. Extra included parts not needed for my vehicle had me stumped & support was not available on the weekends. Finally realized the parts were not needed for my make/model. The weatherstrip for the front fairing was too long & leaves gaps at both sides and hutch allows air to get underneath and lifts off during higher speeds. I had to pull over on side of the road to reinstall and wedge some cloth on the sides which so far has worked up to 50mph. Not sure how it will hold up on the freeway at 75MPH. Washers to install the rack on the vehicle were also difficult to install due to their placing (some directly under the crossbars which didn’t allow for tightening. Overall, I’d say the rack is average and wish I would have spent the extra money to purchase the name brand rack I was considering. Will probably swap it out sometime in the future.
