Rock sliders are heavy-duty steel side rails that mount to the 4Runner’s rocker/frame area. Unlike cosmetic side steps, sliders are engineered to protect the vehicle’s rocker panels and doors from rock strikes, stumps and trail impacts. They preserve structural integrity when the truck scrapes or catches terrain while off-roading and provide a strong mounting point for recovery and accessories.
Our sliders are fabricated from high-strength carbon steel (box tubing and plate sections) with reinforced welds at mounting and impact points. Most of our 4Runner slider models are vehicle-specific and will fit both stock height and mild lift setups without modification. For larger lifts or extreme tire sizes you may need a spacer or an alternative bracket — check the product’s fitment notes. If your lift is more than 3″ or uses aftermarket long-arm geometry, contact us with your vehicle specs so we can confirm compatibility.
