Protect the vulnerable fuel tank on your 2024 Toyota Tacoma with a high-quality fuel tank skid plate from RCI Offroad. Whether you’re off-roading or navigating rough worksites, a punctured fuel tank can leave you stranded and facing costly repairs.
This skid plate is laser cut and CNC formed for a precision fit and excellent finish. Built from 3/16″ steel for maximum puncture resistance using the factory fuel tank support straps, or upgrade to 1/4″ 5052 aluminum for nearly 50% weight reduction without sacrificing strength. Installation is completely bolt-on and takes just minutes with the provided hardware.
Fits: Double Cab Short Bed and Access Cab trucks with the TRD Off-Road package. Can be used on other models with the purchase of Toyota TRD Off-Road fuel tank straps (with threaded studs). If your truck already has the Toyota plastic fuel tank skid plate, you likely have the correct straps.

Purchased the raw aluminum skid plate. Install was simple and the install directions were clear. Floor jack really helps if your installing it alone. Looks way more durable that the plastic one that came on my Trailhunter. Took maybe 2 hours.
