Built with CNC laser cut 10g steel, this plate is custom fit to protect the catalytic converters of all 2007-2021 Tundra’s & 2008-2022 Sequoia’s with premium quality, fit and finish.

Very tight tolerances along the cross member. These will definitely deter any cat thieves. I would highly recommend getting the cat guards with transmission plate if you are already running a RCI front skid.

Overall I’m happy with the coverage and fitment. Cost was very reasonable, a lot cheaper than my deductible if my cats get stolen. I have them mounted to an older RCI trans skid, so I had to drill the holes in order to mount the cat guards, which wasn’t bad with a good set of drill bits. The hardest part was dropping the RCI trans skid to mount the cat guards to it. The directions were fairly clear and straightforward, just make sure you get the driver/passenger side orientation correct. The only thing I didn’t like, which is why I gave 4 stars and not 5, was the new M8 bolts and retrofit mount plate that goes above the crossmemeber that bolts the engine and trans skid plates together. I wasn’t able to tighten the M8 bolts as tight as the old carriage bolts they replaced because the retrofit mount plate starts to bend. I was able to get them tight, just not as tight as I wanted. The head of the M8 bolts is also exposed to impacts, so I may install a set of bolt head protectors.
