A lift helps with ground clearance and larger tires, but balance is key. We suggest a 2–3 inch lift for Tacomas and 4Runners — enough to clear rocks while keeping handling stable.

All-terrain tires are great for mixed trails, while mud-terrain tires excel in deep mud and rocks. We always pair tires with suspension upgrades for maximum grip and durability.

We use secured jerry cans, bed racks, or roof-mounted carriers. Always mount them to prevent movement and use proper tie-downs or brackets for trail safety.

Barely. We design our skid plates to sit tight against the frame and body so you keep as much ground clearance as possible. In most cases, the added protection is worth far more than the small difference in height.
