I put these on my truck after a friends cat was stolen. The other day I went to remove the skids for some work and noticed someone actually tried to steal my catalytic converter. Someone had tried to cut into the aluminum skid with what looks like a angle grinder. There is about a 5 inchcut into the aluminum and they never even got through it before they stopped. They must have stopped after they realized how long it would take to cut out a slot big enough to get the angle grinder in there further to actually cut the cat off at the front pipe. Saved me the cost of replacing my catalytic converter so well worth the price for the skids. Highly recommended. Works as advertised!
